Director General (DG) NADRA Islamabad region Zulfiqar Ahmad has directed the concerned officials of his organization to give priority to overseas Pakistanis at NADRA’s offices in Gujrat and Kharian.
The directive issued on request of Chairman Pakistan Union Norway (PUN) Ch Qamar Iqbal, who met the DG NADRA at his office in G.10 Islamabad.
DG NADRA Vigilance Lt.Col retired Adnan Hafeez, Researcher Syed Sibtain Shah, Senior Journalist Arshad Raza and Senior member PUN and Norwegian Pakistani Businessman Mir Nasir were also present on the occasion.
Ch Qamar Iqbal said, most of the overseas Pakistanis are originally from Gujrat ad Kharian and they face difficulties during the peak hours at NADRA’s offices in these two areas.
DG NADRA immediately directed the concerned authorities of the organization for giving priority to the overseas Pakistanis at NADRA’s offices in these two areas.
Chairman PUN also asked for a separate sitting arrangement for ladies at NADRA’s office in Dingah, Tehsil Kharian. DG NADRA responded that he would direct for separation sitting arrangement for ladies as said office soon.
It is important to mention that most of overseas Pakistanis belong to Gujrat district particularly tehsil Kharian.
