Oslo (Bureau Report) Two exchange students of mass communication from Pakistan have visited Oslo’s headquarters of Norwegian TV2, the largest commercial TV channel of the country Thursday. Death toll from Tezgam inferno jumps to 62: Rahim Yar Khan district govt

The death toll from a fire in three bogies of a Tezgam train near Liaqatpur city jumped to 62, while many remain under critical condition, Rahim Yar Khan district government said on Thursday. At least three people were killed and 19 were wounded in a blast inside Rehmania mosque in Quetta’s Pashtoonabad area during Friday prayers, according to Civil Hospital medical superintendent (MS) Dr Saleem Abro. FBR revises land valuations upwards for 20 major cities

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday issued a flurry of notifications regarding upward revisions in the valuation rates of immovable property in 20 major cities of the country. The average increase in valuations is around 20 per cent, but some areas have seen a much sharper revision in taxable rates.
